A cat owner got the shock of her life when she found her cat had brought home a bag full of drugs. According to reports, the cat was found curled up next to a bag of drugs. The owner of the cat is from St. Pauls in Bristol. The owner found the feline curled up next to the bag one morning, meaning it had gotten the bag while roaming around the previous night.
The bag was immediately reported to the police. The Avon and Somerset Police posted a picture of the bag of drugs that had several wraps of white and purple powder inside a carrier bag. The wraps appear to be Class A drugs such as crack cocaine and heroin. The street value of the drugs in the bag is said to be hundreds of pounds worth.
The Avon and Somerset police tweeted a picture of the bag along with the caption: “Forget police dogs, we should start training up cats. Apparently the owner found this in the cat’s bed, with the feline curled up next to it!” A spokesman for the police department said that the contents of the bag have yet to be analyzed, but it suspected to be the drugs mentioned.
Ashley Police also tweeted the picture, saying: “Look what the cat dragged in. Great result in St Paul’s when a resident’s cat brought this in during the night! The owner got a bit of a shock but called us straight away!” So far no arrests have been made in connection to the drugs.
